Yes
What You Need to Know About Me:
My book One Voice, A Women's Memoirs is based upon my life and getting to know the person inside. Situation arise and I'd seek out the reason why. I have found what it is that makes me weak and how to find the strength and knowledge to keep my path clear and strong.

Also finding the ability to create a positive thought in the mist of negativity. Located unconditional love through God. My poems speak to single women that look to find strength through men instead of God and themselves. It speaks on pain and anger, emotional issues and why we are moved by it. I write to find the truth in life in a plain, simple and spiritual way.

New writing added

A Dominating Woman

They call me Eve with a part of Adam placed in me.
So now I understand why I was left alone.
So that a part of man would be in me
To survive in a dominating world.

We want to fight because we feel that man has left us alone.
God has placed a piece of man inside of us.
So be Eve, with a little Adam inside

I thank my brother for being Adam.
For we find our own strength through you.
For you, are apart of me and we are a part of God

When Life is With out

Freedom becomes jail
Eyes become blind

Ears become deaf
A smile becomes sadden
Smell becomes unfamiliar

Living in my own walk
Living in my own voice
Living for the taste of life

From those that choose to be free because of me
So my joy is snatch away to find their own

Yet only because I allow it
I gave you what I could
I can not give you me

I choose to live the life provided me
Yet you find reason to live through me

You find power and wisdom through me
You look at my life and try to see through my eyes
I yet have done the same thing, then life said that's not my vision

In this I found that I can be divided from my self
So I separate myself from all others only to find mind

In this,
My eyes open
My heart open
My ears open
And a smile brings forth
Knowing that it is because of the Divine

Mate

A docile woman that I Am
The softness of my skin
The flowing of my hair
The light clothing that blows in the wind
She is like a silk blanket of comfort

A dominating male that he is
The face of determination
The arms of strength
The legs of power to with stand another man
The chess that appears hard yet has the comfort of a pillow

As I lay in the fragrance of sweetness,
I desire the masculinity of my mate
To come and abide with me to make a fragrance of oneness.
We create our own fragrance

The sensual mixer creates a desire of passion
Which creates a mist that is known only to us.
Our bodies create the natural oil that pours from our bodies.
As we blend and in twine with one another
We become a fragrance in the oneness of a mist

We mate and separate to become one within our selves
Then we come together and find a new oneness.

Awareness of a Woman

To become one within herself

Respecting in femininity

Acknowledging her imperfect ways

Admiring her own fragrances

Adoring her own body

Loving the strength that abides inside

Just simply being there when life calls for it

Loving her sons and daughters

Knowing her self enough, to stop allowing other people to enter into her mind

Knowing that she doesn't have to be strong for anyone

Loving the soft voice inside of her that says slow down

You don't have to be no more than what you already are

Excepting the woman God created me to be.

The life of a ROSE

I’m there beneath the ground the bud that you can’t even see.
Then love walks by and waters me
I feel the coolness of the water and I began to breath

I stretch my arms, my legs began to stretch out.
The roots of my legs find foundation in the thirst quenched by the water of love.
You nurtured me to grow.

I feel the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the shade
The warmth of your hugs and the shade of your protection

I’m no longer afraid to come out so I Spring through the drudgery of the world and out of the ground I came.

You continued to nurture me with your water to quench my thirst. I drank until I became strong in my stand.

A long stem rose I became. As I stood strong, tall, slender stem with leaves, soft red pedals and thorns.

You admired the beauty as the sun permeated upon me. I had blossomed into something beautiful.

Nature took over and kept me strong. The beauty you once admired in me had dissolved. I was handled with carelessness. My thorns made you bleed. You pulled back your warmth,

In came a storm that blew me back and forth. Drenched me with harshness. And I cried for the warmth of your arms the gentle breeze of your voice. But it stayed cloudy and I couldn’t see. I stood there limped over. Patience for the return of the warmth. It was gone

The season of Fall arrived. I began to wilt. I appeared to be ugly; my beauty in your eyes was dropping off. I had lost myself, my pedals and leaves were falling off. My stem became fragile. I no longer stood strong.

The season had changed again, Winter had come and I disappeared back into the ground. The coldness had taught me to go within myself, hide in the ground and rest until I was strong again.

Summer came again and I returned stronger, firmer, more beautiful than before. I had grown from the pain, I was now aware of the storm; I knew what to expect so I braced myself for the coming storms and I did not sway I stood strong in your arms. The arms of God.

As I am a rose that will rise above the ground over and over again. Becoming stronger and stronger every time life’s cycle of season rotate. I shall grab hold of all the seasons to nurture me and make me stronger.

Everything that creates life in me to develop me into the rose that I am.
For I am love and love is a rose.

Cassandra, forgive me darling, I get silly sometimes laying here all day. I love all of your work. That marriage poem made me think about when I started packing bags and he wouldn't leave. So I try to make the best out of bad situations.

And hello to you, too, Cassandra... coming all strong and deep from the get-go. How do you feel about the way Obama was there for his wife when he told the Republicans to lay off off her.
