Interview with Chef Cyrille Holota of JOEL Restaurant in ATL - Sep 10,2008

Chef Cyrille Holota is a classically-trained French chef from Montlucon (in the center of the country, one hour from Clermont Ferrand). After culinary school, Holota worked in the kitchen of one Michelin star Restaurant Le Clavé. Chef Joël Antunes then recruited him to London to work at one Michelin star rated Les Saveurs. After two years with Antunes, Holota took a break from the kitchen to serve one year in the military. After graduation from the military, he went on to work for three years as Chef de Partie at three-star Michelin L’Arpege. (While working at L’Arpege, Holota was chosen to compete on the Japanese version of Iron Chef in Kyoto, Japan). After L’Arpege, Holota accepted a position, once again with Chef Joël Antunes, in Atlanta at The Dining Room of the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. In 2001, Holota left the Ritz to open JOËL Restaurant as Sous Chef and eventual Chef de Cuisine with Chef Antunes. The chef and his wife Gwen have two children, a 2-year-old daughter and 3-month-old son.

Diary of a Personal Shopper, Interview with Fabulous Fashionista Elana Brin Pruitt - Sep 06,2008

My special guest tonight is Fashionista & Blogger, Elana Brin Pruitt. She is a personal shopper and wardrobe consultant, fashion columnist, and senior editor for an online marketing company. Based in California, Elana helps other women understand their style and uncover the best fashion pieces to flatter their figure, while allowing them to stay within their budget and even save some money in the process. * What are a few MUST-HAVE items for my closet? * What is the "IT" color this fall? * If I could only buy one expensive accessory, what should it be? * How do I find bargains (and not get ripped off) when shopping online? * What are the HOT new trends in jewelry? She'll be here to answer your questions. And...a contest to win a cool prize from Elana! GIVEAWAY ALERT: From SmellGoodSpa.com - Body Spreads from the Taste of Smell Goods line! Almond Biscotti, Tangy Citrus, Matcha, Tantouchthis, and Mojito! Whipped, rich, moisturizing, exotic butters!

Apology to My Listeners - Chef Solomon Fornie of Justin's Restaurant - Sep 05,2008

My apologies - tonight's guest was not able to join us. And, unfortunately, the system did not allow me to edit the show description or delete the segment. Therefore, it was a re-cap of recent segments and guests and I shared some information about the history of "Soul Food" in America.

I hope to re-schedule Chef Solomon on the program soon. Thanks for understanding!

Truly Mexican - An Evening with Chef Roberto Santibanez, Culinary Consultant & Restauranteur - Sep 04,2008

• Santibañez credits his globe-trotting grandmother for teaching him that food, no matter the culinary tradition, should be creatively prepared and globally inspired. • Received a classical culinary foundation while studying in the legendary Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. • Although Santibañez adds a contemporary spin to traditional dishes, his goal in the kitchen is always to preserve the integrity and rich history of the Mexican culinary tradition. He does this by keeping true to the roots of whatever he is preparing, whether it is associated with peasant markets or luxe establishments. • Owned and operated three successful restaurants that revitalized downtown Mexico City: El Sax, La Circunstancia, and Restobar Salamandra. • Has served as culinary director and executive chef of Fonda San Miguel (Austin, TX) and Rosa Mexicano (NYC; Washington, D.C.). • Serves as a culinary partner of Maria Maria, a family of West Coast restaurants done in collaboration with guitar legend Carlos Santana. • Serves as a culinary consultant for Revoluçion, an upscale restaurant in JFK Airport’s popular Terminal 5 that is set to open in October 2008. • Serves as a culinary consultant for Café Frida, a top-tier Mexican restaurant opening in Manhattan in late fall 2008. • Serves as an active member of The Gourmet Institute, an annual event in which luminaries of the culinary world hold seminars, information sessions, and tastings to satisfy the appetites of food-curious audiences.

Interview with Bruce Cohn, of B.R. Cohn Winery & Olive Oil Company and Manager of the Doobie Bros - Sep 03,2008

Founded by Bruce Cohn in 1984 in the heart of Sonoma Valley, BR Cohn Winery is renowned for producing balanced, elegant wines that maintain a standard of excellence from year to year. The olive oil company has recently introduced an Extra Virgin Meyer Lemon Olive Oil to the product line. This is the first citrus blend oil from the company and joins a robust line-up other oils, vinegars, gourmet tapenades and rubs. Also of note, Bruce is the current manager for multi-platinum touring and recording artists The Doobie Brothers and has been since the band’s inception in 1970. Throughout the '70s he spent years on the road with them overseeing their rise to fame; often bumping elbows with the likes of The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Journey. Although he’s not on the road as much these days, Bruce still guides their career and the connection is quite evident upon visiting the BR Cohn tasting room, where his love for wine and music are clearly evident. Each fall, wine lovers and music fans alike flock to the B.R. Cohn Winery Fall Charity Music and Golf Tournament, with proceeds benefiting the Valley of the Moon Children's Foundation and other youth charity organizations.

What You Need to Know About Me:
I began writing as a child and self-published an inspirational piece a few years ago. I have a children's book on the way to the editors and I'm in the process {sigh} of rewriting the intro chapters of my first mystery (which is my favorite genre). The title is The Waiting Place. It is centered around a young man returning home from overseas for his wedding and his fiancee is murdered. The incident is linked back to the young man's wealthy parents who are in the midst of a hotly contested divorce.

For one day the Graysons live among the animals and learn the meaning of love, courage and commitment. Grade 3 Reading Level; 80 pages.

Article Marketing and How It Works

It is an estabilished fact that Article Marketing works by a large number of Internet Marketers in wide variety of niches. This has been repeatedly proven. However, those who have not ever attempted article marketing tend to think that it is harder or more time consuming than it actually is. Starts by writing an article. This can be done by yourself or you can hire a ghost writer. The cost of ghost written articles is usually less than $10.00 for a 300 to 500 word article. It is important that… Continue

Hiring a Ghostwriter

Even if you can write, it might make more sense to hire one or more ghostwriters to provide your articles. Needing hundreds of articles in a short amount of time will make it necessary to hire several. There are many reasons to have someone else do your writing. The hard part is, finding a good, affordable ghost writer. You can post a bid request for the work at one of the freelance sites, such as www.elance.com or www.rentacoder.com , but you may not get a writer who can do a decent job. One… Continue
