Last Chance Café © 2008 is a wonderful journey of self discovery and mastery; to come to the ultimate realization that there are no last chances in life. If you have the desire to do anything then it is your choice to make it happen. The novel follows four female friends through their tribulations and triumphs in career and romance.

*** “Sitting at her usual booth in the corner of the room where she could observe all, Alexis realized that there is no such thing as a missed opportunity. It’s never too late to create the longed for childhood, the career of your dreams or the lasting love that seems to only exist in the movies. “So long as there is breath in my lungs and thoughts in my brain I will design my destiny and so it will be” She thought to herself as she sipped her morning cup of coffee.***

Blaq Man, Bronze Penny

Blaq Man, Bronze Penny My Blaq Man, I liken him to a rusty bronze penny. You know the kind that you find all scratched and tarnished in the middle of the street. My Blaq Man is so abrasive and rough that you could cut yourself if you held him too tightly. I acknowledge the merit of my pennies that are so often discarded, left behind and considered worthless by most. The strength and value of My penny is only recognized when I mass quantities. The significance and the power of my Blaq Man is most… Continue

Forgiving someone removes them from your back, and they are no longer heavy. The act of Forgiving is one of the hardest, yet easiest things to do.
I know that this was freeing. Proud of you.
