What You Need to Know About Me:
Author Hazel Mills knew that she wanted to be a writer from the moment she penned the first words of a poem titled “A Tree” when she was in the third grade. Even though she majored in business at the University of Alabama, writing continued to be her first love.
Hazel’s short erotic fiction can be seen in Playgirl Magazine’s Erotic Encounters (January 2007 issue) and in Best Lesbian Love Stories: New York City, edited by Simone Thorne. Hazel also has an essay published in Jolie Dupre’s series in The Blushing Ladies Journal. PassionScape is her monthly column published online by EDC Creations and Sankofa Literary Society. She is also a contributing author to the upcoming anthology Mocha Chocolate: Taste A Piece of Ecstasy, edited by Shani Greene-Dowdell. She lives in the Birmingham area with her husband and children. Bare Necessities: Sensuous Tales of Passion
By Hazel Mills

Whether newly discovered or rekindled, there is no feeling in the world like pure passion coursing through our veins. It erupts at our core and allows us to be free and uninhibited. Bare Necessities: Sensuous Tales of Passion is a collection of short erotic stories that explore passions that are buried deep in the subconscious as well as those that lie just beneath the surface and are easily exposed. The characters of each sizzling story experience passions that explode and send them hurling into a fiery universe of sensuous pleasure.

Helle Hazel,
Every Mother's Son Must Read

Join me on my journey of healing after the violent murder of my son. I have a message to share with millions of mothers just like me who're grieving, after the murder of their child.

A Mother will always carry a heavier burden of losing a child than anyone else. She carried that child for nine months. She felt him move in her body when no one else could. She laid there and pushed him into the world, looking over at the doctor asking him, "Is my baby okay?", or waiting to hear his first cry.

After all the hard labor of bringing that precious child into the world, you now wait to be able to feed him for the first time.

A Mother feels the emptiness in her heart more than anyone else when a child dies. That little outfit she brought him home in from the hospital was special.

The little sweaterset with the matching booties and a blanket. She wraps him up tightly while he's sound asleep as she looks at him with a smile and holds him close to her.

Once a mother gets home she reaches for her baby, undresses him and just stares at the little bundle of joy.

A few weeks later, the baby has to go to the doctor to get his first shots. She holds him so close because she knows he is about to be in pain. She can make him feel better.

When she looks at him after getting his first shot, she feels so helpless. She couldn't make it better for him, so she gently kisses him and he lays his little head on her chest, the little sniffles she hears makes her cry.

Our children are being murdered. Lying in the street drowning in their own blood. The screams and cries of our children are silent. A mother wonders when a child is shot, did he call out her name. I always wondered if Kenny called my name as he was shot. I will never know. He never regained consciousness. He died, after a seven day battle to live.

A Silent Scream is an exceptional non-fiction book. It is anointed by God.

If there was no "A Silent Scream" there would be no me. I was dying in grief. I was giving up. The pain was too hard to bear. I lost my faith in God and I lost a relationship that meant the most in the world to me the closeness I had with my children. I loved them the best I could, in the situation I was forced into.

If you know a Mother who has lost a child, share A Silent Scream with her. She needs to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am a witness to it.

I can't reach every mother except with your help.

Sometimes all she needs is a hug.

This email is to reach 1 million mothers before Mother's Day. Let's start today. Help her to know that we care about how she feels.

If you never lost a child I pray you never do.
