It wasn't just that my name was mentioned in this clip. It was the redemption that W. Paul Coats delivered in righting the wrong that was done by Tony Rose, how he more or less put down ALL Urban Fiction as if we all write the same and say the same. I'd venture to say that T.R. hasn't read as much as ten Urban Lit books and so speaks from a state of ignorace that our "old school" cats tend to embrace. "I don't want no credit cards" "I don't care 'bout no Innernet" and of course, these are some of the same folks that irritate you on the roadways of America, driving 40mph in the fast lane. Sure, I may be my brother's keeper, but is that subjective to my brother's interests and practices? We need to STOP HATING. Word.
