Hi Tysha. I recently started a site for writers. I would love for you to check it out and share some of your knowledge of writing. Please join and do tell a friend. It's a great site. www.newauthorsandwriters.ning.com
This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black. The writer's gender and age is not an issue. All genres welcome: general, mystery, romance, historical, etc. Write to Brenda Frazier for more information. Her email address is: writingtimes@aol.com

Wow, Tysha, just read the summary of your book. It sounds very intriguing and dramatic. Congratulations on being on the Essence Mag best sellers list. I look forward to checking it out sometime soon. Way to go Ohio homegirl!
Congrats on your novel. I will have keep the title in my memory bank for my next opportunity to select a book for my book club. There are 8 of us and I just had my turn to select. Keep following your dreams and don't let your illness slow you in the least. I, too, have an illness, MS. On some days I wonder if I can keep it going. It's difficult and challenging when you "can't do what you use to do back in the old days." I say, God is good and I am still able to lead the life that I led before being diagnosed, just a little slower and not as long.
KEEP WRITING.

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.

Are you minds thinking on the things of God? Are you praying without ceasing? Or are you more concerned about how your bills are going to be paid, or troubled where your next meal is coming from?
Whatever has your heart controls your destiny… Why n…
Yep, the power of "facts" on the internet. Ain't it grand? People take forwards as gospel. Do you all also believe that Barack Obama shouldn't be president because he's not an American citizen? It' says he's not on the internet!
I kinda wanted this…
