Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.htmlhopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

HOW TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS... i rarely celebrate the american holidays, though i was born here, in a traditional way because so many of them are based using and abusing others for profit. instead, i try to focus on the theme: so today, i celebrate my own independence!

i can't thank you enough for your thoughtful comments. something told me to check back in before signing up with cush city. they have a fourth of july promotion that seemed so tempting. but after being burned by kulturefirst (beware of them as well), i knew i needed to do some research. isn't it great that we can share info like this which, otherwise, would be unavailable? again, thanks!

Thanks for "feeling my pain"! I am not a fan of people who borrow without acknowledging the original source. However, this is different from, for instance, writing an original work inspired by another text. In fact, most of writing is comprised of "springboard" texts. Since you said some of your writing evokes shakespeare, did you know that shakespeare's plot for "romeo and juliet" came from an egyptian myth? most plots are variations on universal ones. again, we writers need to study our craft a bit more, not just by writing, but reading.

Thanks so much. You are one of the few folk who commented who "got" it! It's actually scaring me. It tells me how little people who call themselves writers have studied literature!!! For instance, most respondents didn't realize that allusion is a literary device!!! I am intentionally alluding to Perry's movie, but here's the catch: Perry used the title of a book called Diary of a Mad Housewife by Sue Kaufman that came out in the 70's. Very few people know this! So when he used a play on words of her title, I decided to do the same! However, I do give her credit in my play. I am no fan of Perry because he takes advantage of the fact that many black people don't know when he is borrowing material!!! The man is not that creative. Black folk just aren't well-read!!!
