It was one thing to get a phone call from "The Duke" and to speak with him extensively about a partnership. It was another thing to then go out to LA and meet him in person. Eventually, we had a deal and his money was in my bank account. More... URBAN LIT UNIVERSE

Thank you so very much. You are so kind. My answer would be by any means that is open to you. By putting up a cover of the book and where to book can be purchased. Also the name of the author, title of the book and what it's about.
Thank you, again.
thanx for the comments - definitely do the work on bethune - a powerful and fascinating woman. i do 1 page on her in my book - a documentary would be great. her last testament is a powerful piece by itself!
I just signed up for this on the advice of a friend - my book 'In Their Footsteps: Inspirational Reflections On Black History for every day of the year' - chronicles, on a daily basis, the black legacy of courage, justice, struggle and generosity. Rosa Parks, Maya Angleou, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, Rev CL Franklin, Patrice Lummumba, Ella Baker, Jomo Kenyatta, and hundreds more. you can see the cover on amazon - great for kids - in fact an 11 year old in DC wrote me and said it would be in his personal library 'forever'
Hey Denise - thanks for the uplift! And what a rich history you are birthed from, my goodness. In reading your summary, I see you are doing wonderful, wonderful things. May God continue to prosper all that you put your hands to!
Hey Denise,
It felt wonderful seeing my book finally in print. I actually sat down and re-read it so I could see how it felt to read the story as an actual book!!! ::smile:: But no one told me that writing the book was the easy part!!! Promoting the book is sooooooooooo much harder. But it's a labor of love!!
Thank you so much for that comment Denise. It really blessed my spirit. Have a wonderful rest of the week. Keep in touch and stay exceedingly abundantly blessed!
