Greetings Fellow Authors,

Join us November 5th thru 7th at the Northland Shopping Mall in Southfield, Michigan for the International Urban Book Festival, Detroit. A great place to sell books and teach young people the importance of reading. We have rented the entire shopping mall to get our message across to the young at risk generation. Reading is essential! Let's all encourage our youth to read at least two books per week. Let's encourage parents to make this a family mandate.

Meet and network with celebrity authors, purchasing agents from schools, libraries and major corporations plus other members of the literary community. We will hold literary workshops, panel discussions, lectures, seminars and classes on self publishing. We have 200 author tables now available, but they are certain to sell out quickly. The cost for the three day weekend is only $225. Author tables are 2' by 4' skirted with two chairs. Out of state attendees may receive discounts on hotel rooms by logging onto our website after September 2, 2010.

This is certain to be a fun filled event. Don't miss it.

Good to have you as a friend...And yes, we are beyond African American...but after listening to Sophia on a number of radio interviews and hearing the questions coming in, we can't run too far ahead of the pack or we will separate and leave too many behind. My body looks African American and if it came down to it, whether I agreed of not, I would be considered African American...as the work unfolds, such identifications will or course become unnecessary...

Hey Jill

Sorry that I didn't make that call yesterday. I wasn't even because of the meds. We had a huge cook-out at my moms. She had all of her kids, grands, and was only missing great-grand but they called. All of those stopped by from over the years that called her Mom as well. So she was pleased. I am bushed beat down & everything else. I'll catch the next one

I bet I've been more busy than you!!!! I'm on my way to Hollywood, CA with my attorney to finalize my screenplay deal with a production company. I'm busy working on scripts for a veteran photographer turned filmmaker! I'm also working on getting my teleplays on television. Several production companies are looking at them. Busy! Busy! Busy!!!!
