Yellow Dress

I remember the bright yellow dress she wore that summer eve. It was like the color of fluorescent

love shining so bright that night. A special moment in time past, I shall never forget. The winds

blew softly as it whispered its tender cries of calm between us, while the breeze of freedom set

upon us to run free. That night we sat upon an old couch on the back porch while having an

intimate conversation about how I wanted her body soul and spirit. Her words where like

animated life, frozen in a space of time, anchoring my thoughts for the moment when liberated

love would be expressed without restriction or any regrets. When she smiled the stars began to

explode like firecrackers on the fourth of July to celebrate her beautiful existence. While gazing

into her vision, it became apparent to me that I had found the fountain of eternal life. She made

me feel like I was born again for a second time for forever. It was almost unbelievable to know

that one had the power to give such a gift to one seeking the truth about love. Her touch was as if

God himself had come down from heaven in human form to reveal real unconditional, sacrificial,

selfless unincarcerated revelation to help me comprehend the price of love. The yellow dress has

stained my memory forever. I’m continuously imprisoned with joy and pain, wisdom and

understanding. The loss of her presences has caused pain but the remembrance of the yellow

dress has restored my joy. Yellow dress.
