The Perfect Man
Ladies please don’t be jealous,
but I can’t contain my joy.
I had to tell somebody.
I fell in love with the perfect boy.
You laugh and say I’m foolish.
No man like that exists.
I tell you that you’re wrong,
you’ve never met a man like this.
He worships the ground I walk on,
and he knows me inside and out.
He tells me that I’m beautiful
at times when I look my worse.
When I cry, he cries too.
His love is a gift and a curse.
I know his love is eternal and
I would be selfish not to share.
His beauty, those big brown eyes,
the waves that ripple through his hair.
His touch is like no other.
He was made only for me.
I would easily die for him
and he would thoughtlessly
do the same for me.
He has never loved another woman
no never more.
You ask me, how I know?
A mother’s never been so sure.
