As you very well know I can't pass up an opportunity to write about events that take place in everyday life. Especially my life so once again I got one for you.
I was at the gas station and I told the man behind the counter to give me $20 on pump #4, and a pack of sour cherry bubble gum. He smiled a very nice lookin smile at me. At first I turned around and looked thinkin he was grinnin at somebody behind me. He says, "No! I wasa looking atchu." (I think he was of middle eastern descent so I'm tryin to write usin his accent.) "Howa arrre you today? Alrrright?"
"Yeah, I'm good." I looked him in his eye.
"I think you arrre a cute. You have prrretty eyes" he winked at me.
Hey, I'm a woman and women love flattery so..."You know what? I think I'm cute too, and my eyes are just sooo." (Hey who better to flatter me then me?)
"Tell you what. No one tis en the storrre. If you give a me a kiss I will give frrree gas to you."
"Free gas, hunh?" I looked around to make sure nobody else was in the store "And all you want is a kiss?"
"Yes. Rrright herrre." he pointed to his cheek.
I smiled. I wet my lips. I leaned in. I spoke, "Hey, man. Why don't you take these twenty-one duckets, give me my gas and my gum, I'm gonna ride out and you can sit here and wait for a skutter who will sell off her dignity for some free gas. I'm a lady; a married lady and you need to get ya mind right."
What? Don't tell me yall thought I was gonna kiss that dude for real!
that's it. i said it. i'm out. be easy.
