Are You a Walking Action Item? (IF YOU THINK YOU ARE...PLEASE READ)

Do you find yourself having to update calendars, blackberries, internet accounts, and schedules? What about returning phone calls from a couple of weeks ago? Oh, did you make those travel arrangements to L.A.? Did the facilitator tell you about the change in the agenda? Did you pay your bills? I'm sure you forgot about your brother's 40th birthday celebration? Let me guess, you just remembered that you took more leave then you had saved at work. Don't forget about your deadline in a couple of weeks.

Do you have enough books/cds for your next appearance? Are your royalty checks accurate?

If you have been asked at least half of the aforementioned (or have asked yourself), then you are a walking action item. Not because I said it. It's just the fact. If you are striving to accomplish a goal and are passionate about that for which you are striving, then you may feel "behind" most of...if not all of the time.

LOL, forget about pleasing everybody because there will be times when you feel that you cannot make ANYONE happy. You will notice that the more you succeed, the more sensitive some people tend to get. Before you can even blink, there is a rift forming between you and the last person whom you'd suspect as being angry with you.

Keep your mouth full...why? Because there will be more attempts to put words in your mouth then you can shake a stick at.

Regardless of the fact that you may have a loving and caring family, there will be times where you'll feel isolated on an island by yourself.

Do not try to explain your passion to everyone...because even if you do have great voice and diction, they still may or may not process it. Of course, if they cannot process it...they may tend to slowly drift away.
