Why did I get sooooo angy?

I wrote a poem for a friend to be read at the funeral of her infant. I wrote this poem from my heart as I had know this mother ever since she was a 6th grade classmate of my daughters. I gave it to her and she put it in the program. When I saw the program I was upset that my poem was altered...by my friends mother, who could not spell or read very well.
