Deaf Ear

Hello..?

Hello..!

I know you heard me

walking around here

saying the samething

for the last past five days!

You act like you don't hear me

when I'm talking all softly to you,

now that I'm yelling,

you seem amazed!

Then you start screamming and shouting,

calling me all kind'ah names,

before you start crying!

Baby..?

Baby..!

Don't do that ma, please..

WHAT?

YOU LYING!

POETRY MONTH SUBMISSION --OCT. 8, 2009

Black like…

Black like sand is infinite

And ice flows in rivers that once ran in clouds

Black like night is a dandelion rising in the noonday sun

And blue is the final flame of the cool dung

Black like coal is hot diamond on the hand of a young couple promising eternity

Black like time is never done

Black like on and on

And every sum was a black one

Black like… Continue

Excerpt from "Word on the Streets"

Word On The Streets Part 1

Word on the streets

I was born on these streets

Every day I seek to devour these streets

And all the anguish I meet

Everywhere I keep my heart upbeat

And back down not to defeat

Or stage an empty repeat

Every time I gather wisdom of immeasurable feats

Withstanding the perilous city’s dead heat

What other dangers do I meet?

Everyone needs their share of bread and meet

Yet can I find my dietary… Continue

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

At the same time, working…See More
