WARRANTED RAGE
The shiny and new COLT hammer rest on top of the vintage dresser crowded with recent and back-in-the-day photos of the family, of the friends, an assortment of MAC makeup, an array of very expensive diamonds and gold jewelry ranging in prices of more than $10,000. Perfumes and what-nots, as I pace back and forth, from the den to the back bedroom, considering how I should be reacting, as Reginald, Ashy and Compton bang unmercifully, like convicts on lock-down, on my burglar-barred…

As an author your email signature is a fantastic place to distinguish yourself and stand-out from the crowd of emails that your recipients receive. In fact, it's an excellent way to unobtrusively market your book to all your email recipients. Let's do the math about the size of this marketing opportunity ... if you send an average of 10 emails a day you've got over 300 opportunities a month to tell your email recipients (clients, coworkers, friends, family and vendors) about your book.
At…

Today we were absolutely thrilled by a comment made by noted novelist and champion of the Free e-Day movement - Dan Holloway in his
blog.
In the entry Dan says, "not only do they care about writers - they listen to writers. They respond swiftly to feedback - they will even try to make changes. They actually want to give writers a tool that works for them. And they've succeeded. Bookbuzzr is the best…

L skipped up the walkway with extra pep. This hood wasn’t kosher at all. Keep ya eye off the prize and niggas would be up in ya shit, unknowingly kidnapping the bastard seed in the process.
“Come on girl,” L groaned quietly while bangin’ on the door. Time was of the essence and he had to move fast. L could smell the intoxicating aroma of money in the air. He knew the bitch was home, heard Nickelodeon blastin’ loud than a muthafucka.
“What you want nigga?” The door swung open with Krystal stand…

You've seen it: Book-marketers and promoters offering "final opportunities" grab a great book promotion for "$1500.00" off the regular price. I've seen these and thought: "Wow, no way I can pass up a deal like that." Right.

A few weeks ago, we had an email interaction with Henry at SelfPublishingReview.com, who made a very valuable suggestion for improving the user interface and readability of BookBuzzr on Mac systems. When we made the fix, Henry suggested that we write a guest post about running a book-marketing site.
Here is

Middle Man is a story I wrote that is featured in the anthology aptly titled, "Bitch I'm From the D". The project also includes stories by Dennis Reed II, Renita M. Walker, Deanna Michelle Smith, T.C. Littles and multi-time Essence Best-Selling author, Michel Moore. Being Detroit authors, all six of us crafted stories about hard-living it in the D. And even though written individually, each tale coincides in the end, resulting in what I call a certified masterpiece.

A sistah contacted me recently asking me to help promote her book. I am always happy to help if I can.
I suggested she write an article relating to the book for my
More Black Success free ebooks.
She did not want to make the effort to submit an article, she just wanted me to tell people about her book.
The question I wanted to ask her was, "Are you telling people about my books?"
We are all in this together, sistas. We need…
