After an exhausting trip to Mobile, Alabama, I am mentally and physically exhausted. Today I just took a moment to return some phone calls, send out some emails and blog. At some point I'm going to get some sleep and then unpack. I still have 2 speeches to write for The Sigma Conclave next week and then it's time to pack again and hit the road.

Today I spent most of the day watching all of the news reports, videos and tributes pouring in for MICHAEL JACKSON. Seeing all that he accomplished in his short life, has me thinking about my own life. One question keeps coming to my mind -

My morning was spent in
"Rejection City". It seemed like everywhere I went and everyone that I asked to buy my book

Today I did some backtracking. After I signed books at a Garage Sale
(Yes I will sign books anywhere! - Big ups to my girl RAE at Front Cover.), I went back to a Beauty Salon that I had previously sold books to. Today as I take time to celebrate - JUNETEENTH

Tonight I had the pleasure of doing a Book Signing at a place that had a much younger crowd than I was accustomed to. There were a lot of young people in attendance, but very few were interested in "reading" or in buying a book. I became a little discouraged, not because I wasn't selling a lot of books, but because of the number of times I heard from Young Brothers and Sisters -
