THE JOKES ON YOU

THE JOKE  IS ON YOU

Haugh Haugh I am walking on street of gold

Did you know Jesus Christ done saved my soul

I’m swinging up here on golden stairs

And on my mind there is not even a care

Having blessed drinks with Father Abraham

Told Mother Mary thank you mam

I asked her to tell Jesus to please pray for me

And I praise God that I am free

I have been a faithful Boxing fan ever since my father introduced me to the sport

in the 70’s. From the first time I watched a Boxing match–“I was hooked” on the sport–which some

affectionately call the “Sweet-Science.” Over the years, I have become a faithful fan to many

fighters like Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhammad Ali, Alexis…

AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE THE WORST.

African Americans have given up on reading, and African American politicians dare to support a sitting black U.S. president out of fear of being called a ni@#er lover by white politicians.

The New York Times refers to Barack Obama as the last black politician. White journalist asks each other out loud, “What’s going with progression, evolution and rehabilitation in the black community”?

The reply is nothing happening in the black community. There is no movement of…

Ten years have gone sadly by.

Yet still I hear the steel beams cry.

Visions of 757’s still infect my brain

Glass shards falling like glistening rain

It seems many have forgotten that hateful day

When they stood by tv’s starting to pray

But I will never forget and I don’t want to

I’ll always remember the…

Your Wisdom Grows From Your Past

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat roads to nowhere.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they…

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
