DAY 30 - NO REST FOR THE WEARY!

After an exhausting trip to Mobile, Alabama, I am mentally and physically exhausted. Today I just took a moment to return some phone calls, send out some emails and blog. At some point I'm going to get some sleep and then unpack. I still have 2 speeches to write for The Sigma Conclave next week and then it's time to pack again and hit the road. "The road to success runs uphill, so don't expect to break any speed records!" ...AND THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT... But Who knows - Maybe… Continue

Calling Women 2

Supplies needed for the consecration:

• 2 to 3 Brand new pens (the kind you enjoy writing with)

• 2 Brand new tables for journaling (choose what you like)

• Highlighters at least 3 different colors (colors you like)

• Blanket (the best one’s are the couch blankets)

Women if you can not buy anything new then be creative! I ask that all be new because old things are pasted away, and behold all things in your life are about to be new! And this consecration is a… Continue

Calling All Women

Blog

Ladies, I have messed up my life so bad with all the bad choices and bad decisions that I made in my life. I remember exactly when the horrible cycle of poor choices and even worst, bad decision making started. I was 16 years old and decided within myself that leaving home at this time and not finishing my education was a really good thing for me and some how leaving my mother’s house was going to make me feel better, or at least start living this marvelous life that I saw in my… Continue

Poem: Rhymer's Dilemma

Rhymer’s Dilemma

From nether reaches of the mind,

Esoteric scribes weave riddles,

Parlaying arcane phrases,

Such as “Hey diddle and diddle”;

For even the learned scholar,

Of matters great and little,

Might succumb to the complexity,

Of a musical cat and a fiddle;

Still, I applaud the rhymer,

Who should duly take the bow,

To think a strange thought,

The moon visited by a cow;

If all poets be mad,

And… Continue

DAY 28 - I'M A DREAMER! - THERE'S ONE IN EVERY FAMILY!

PICTURED ABOVE: Shirley Murdock & brburns.com

Tonight as I sat backstage at The Sanger Theater in Mobile, Alabama, waiting on my cue to take the stage in the stage play - THERE'S ONE IN EVERY FAMILY(Heaven Ain't That Hard To Find!), I started thinking about how much I LOVE THE THEATER! Thanks to Curtis Von, for allowing me to be a part of his production. And thanks to all of the wonderful people that I had the opportunity… Continue

Calling All Women

I asked God why are women not getting the cure or the answers to our problems that we're needing? We are hurting, bitter, mad, angre, suicidal, lonely, afraid, vulnerable, depressed, lifeless, we dwell on the past, keep looking back and can't let go, make bad choices, wrong decisions that lead to devastation, we lack confidence and self esteam, we hold on to things that keep us down and that are not good for us, and we are… Continue

DAY 27 - LOYALTY IS PRICELESS!

Today I paused my book tour to travel to Mobile, Alabama. A friend asked me to be a part of a stage play that he was directing. "Loyalty in little things is a great thing!" ...AND THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT... But Who knows - Maybe it's just me!

McKenzie Files Sample Page.

For a moment the Brelac stood before Fenlow and remained silent. Fenlow was apprehensive as to what would happen next. He had limited personal involvement with these creatures, but knew that they were as unpredictable as they were vicious.

The Brelac spoke, uttering a deep growl to slowly form a single name, "Fenlow. So, you're the Great Doctor Fenlow. One of the first traitors in the brief history of this war. We finally meet."

Fenlow was quick to voice his indignity to that unsavory… Continue

DAY 26 - HOW WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED?

Today I spent most of the day watching all of the news reports, videos and tributes pouring in for MICHAEL JACKSON. Seeing all that he accomplished in his short life, has me thinking about my own life. One question keeps coming to my mind - "HOW WILL I BE REMEMBERED?" Yes I have the Cds, the Plays, the Radio Show, the Book, etc., etc., etc., but is that enough for me to be remembered long after I'm gone? I will always remember something that my Sunday School Teacher - Sis. Franklin… Continue

Is eternal life a hoax?

Is eternal life a hoax?

Copyright©2006 by Ronald Steele

A plant buds and blossoms into a stunningly beautiful flower

Like nothing you ever saw before, and in their season, they are abundant

Both in number and awe.

And, then they die. And, that’s pretty much the end of it. Or is it?

I mean, do plants reincarnate, do fish, deer, chickens, why would some beings and not other beings? Why would people and not plants reincarnate?

Is… Continue

The Truth In Historical Fiction Wows Readers

Mark Twain, famous American author and humorist, coined the phrase "Truth is stranger than Fiction". He was considered by luminaries such as William Faulkner to be the "Father of American Literature”. Twain’s musings can be interpreted to mean that true renditions of real people and real events are far more exciting, inspirational and mind-boggling than warmed over fables of great battles, discoveries, or accomplishments in recorded… Continue
