Giving in 2009

To play a small part in making a difference in children's lives, for the remainder 2009, I will be donating half the royalties from the sales of The Friday House to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

If you're not already aware of what the RMHC does for families, please visit: http://www.rmhc.com/what-we-do/ronald-mcdonald-house/

The Friday House is available at Amazon.com.

What are you willing to pay

When you go to the bookstore or buy from websites, how much are you
willing to pay for a good book. In other words, what is the max you are
willing to paid?

How much for a Trade Paperback?

How much for a mass market paperback?

How much for a hardcover?

Just curious.

A good book can ruin a decent movie

It’s really sad when you see a movie and truly enjoy it, only later to pick up the book the film was based on, love it, and begin despising the movie version you so recently loved.

There are a few exceptions, for example, Devil in a Blue Dress, Roots, and The Color Purple. Those movies translated well to film.

Can you think of any movie adaptations you loved before you read the written version? And, what was it that made you dislike the movie after reading the book?

Hello Mr. Gaston,

My name is Liz Lampkin and I am in the process of writing another self-help book for women regarding relationships, and I am conducting a small case study. I wanted to know if you could answer the following questions. All answers and information will be strictly confidential. The questions are regarding men and commitment:

1.) Why do you think men don't commit to relationships?
2.) Do you think men fear commitment? Why or why not?
3.) Do you think all men desire is sex?
4.) Please list 3-5 reasons why you believe men don't commit to relationships.

I thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to reading your answers.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.htmlhopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
