I'm telling u if anyone has self-published a book it is a work of a life time. It takes a lot of energy because you"re your own agent, publicist, money marketer, and yes you're the one who needs to keep check and in control over what's happening with your book online. I"ve been a published author since March and I have released my inner book. This book was inside me for the past twenty years. Releasing and Creating "God's Favor 4 Teen Girls," a Christ Centered book/journal for Teen Girls has been nothing but the best thing that I feel that I"ve done in my life. It has opened my eye's to a part of myself that I knew was never there until this book came. My publisher Xulon Press announced this past May the winners of the Christian Choice Book Award, and I WON 3rd place in the ministry category. There were a total of 12 other categories. I cannot tell you what this meant to me. This book is a dedication to my deceased mother and all of my neices. Anyway, my future plans are on the way I plan to release my second book by March, 2010. The journey continues with the Grace of God. If,interested you can find this book on most on-line book stores.

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
