- M. Raye Turner – Author of Pretty Monster is a Chicago native and is currently working on her next novel in addition to developing projects for stage, television and film.
Turners’ inspiration comes from her love of reading and writing outside of academia. Influenced by life and passion, she has been writing stories and characters in her head for decades. Her passion for education has professionally led her to work as a student advocate in various capacities from elementary to the graduate level, exemplifying leadership, relationship building, and advisement.
Currently Turner is a consultant residing in the Midwest with her two children who she affectionately calls Twinkie Pickles and Reverend Chubby Cheeks.
