What You Need to Know About Me:
Karen Andrea graduated in Law from Sheffield University, UK. After years working as a solicitor, she quit her full-time job to pursue her dream of creative writing. She is a member of the Soociety of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators specialising in writing fiction for the Children and Young Adult market. The Enchanted Library is her debut novel.
London is her adopted home, loving the diversity, greenery, creativity and local buzz. When not scribbling, Andrea enjoys sunshine, yoga, daydreaming and people-watching in the abundance of local cafes.
Andrea is involved with local literacy initiatives and regularly attends local schools to give workshops on creativity. Many schools are now reading her novel in class. Andrea is concerned with diversity issues, especially education in the Afro-Caribbean community.
