What You Need to Know About Me:
James A. Jimason is an author and dynamic speaker, with a passion to see all people fulfill their Destiny. He has a three-year diploma in Ministerial Studies. He's been writing for over eight years with four published books (shown below), and a fifth book due soon. To schedule him to speak at your next event (Conference, Workshop, Bible Study, Sunday morning message, etc.), please contact him at jjimason@aol.com.

"Destiny pulls us forward while the disappointments of our past try to drag us back; back into the mud of mediocrity and complacency. Our life soon becomes a tug-of-war of mental and emotional anguish, until the final decision is made. We must resolve within our soul the question; do I go forward, retreat and give up, or simply stand still? My friend, there is only one logical answer to this question, that has plagued the minds of every human on earth – go forward! Embrace the passion that burns within your soul, because the pursuit of happiness is really the pursuit of Destiny." - James A. Jimason

You will be missed, Michael Jackson - still the King of Pop!

I don't know about the rest of you but I am really bummed by the passing of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I really can't believe he is gone. He will be greatly missed by me and the music industry at large.

Unfortunately, I believe he died years ago from the media & their efforts to tear him down! In short, he died when he closed "Neverland Ranch."

Have you or someone you know been turned off by church?

Have you or someone you know been turned off by church?

My latest book - "God's House: Returning to the Heart of Ministry" can help heal the wounds caused by those who have forgotten the true purpose of the church. Please help me spread the word about this life-changing book that is needed now more than ever. As the world is going through a major financial reconstruction, so must the church go through a restructuring process, from the top down. God's people are quietly suffering at the h… Continue

Dante's Destiny II: Lights Out. After the death of A. J. Grimason, there arose an even greater threat – Grimason II. He is hell-bent on finishing what his father started. Destiny emerges on the scene to announce her candidacy for president. However, no one knows where she came from or what her true motives are. Meanwhile, Dante is fighting for his life after a severe gunshot wound to his chest, from an unknown sniper. This gripping tale of good versus evil goes to an entirely new level that will leave you speechless! This is a must read for all serious novel readers and book lovers alike! If you love mystery, suspense, drama and action, then you are going to love this book!

Dante's Destiny: Nothing is what it seems, is a thrill ride that will keep you guessing until the very end. The battle between good and evil goes beyond the natural and into the supernatural, where nothing is what it seems. Dante struggles with the constant turmoil that plagues his family, while searching for the meaning of it all. It is when you think you have it all figured out, that you realize – you don't have a clue.

Give Me Destiny: The Heart Cry of the Real Christian, is a powerful book that will change your thinking, thereby changing your course to reach your Destiny. If you want to fulfill the "call" of God upon your life then do not hesitate to get this book! Many people walk aimlessly through life with no real sense of purpose, hoping that life will get better on its own. God has a plan and Destiny for your life, which is not defined by the circumstances of your conception, or by the challenges of your childhood. As you read this book, you will find courage to claim the prize - called Destiny! Featured on AnointedSoundz.com - June 23, 2008.

Chapter One: A Modern Day Testimony, is a powerful book that shows the favor and grace of God, in everyday life over a 10 year period (Revelation 12:11). I share how God reunited me with my father after over 20 years, financial blessings, healing, promotions in the church, dating relationship challenges, and the passion to fulfill my Destiny. These stories will encourage your heart and lift your soul, to dream big and to reach for the impossible. Because all things are possible - to them that believe.

Chapter Two: The Winds of Change, the author bares his soul, as another installment from the pages of his life is revealed (next 5 years). He goes beyond the mere testimony of a few good things that have happened. Instead, he delves into the depth of his inner most being – revealing both past pains and future promises. This book brings inspiration and encouragement to those, who dare to believe God for the impossible. So get ready to go to the next level in your thinking and faith in God. Because your Destiny still awaits your arrival. Featured on Heaven 1580am - March 6, 2008.

God's House: Returning to the Heart of Ministry, is about going back to the beginning, returning to the heart of God and the value of the church. God gave us spiritual leaders to bless us (Ephesians 4:11-14). Unfortunately, many churches today are ruled by heavy-handed leaders who have forgotten why they were "called." As a result, many have drawn back from God and the church – feeling lost and confused about what they once believed. This book is for those who have been rejected and hurt by those who were assigned to watch for their soul. It is time to rebuild – one person at a time.

Highlights:
- The role of spiritual leadership
- The true meaning of "ministry"
- The problems that exist and how to fix them

"God's House is compelling and very timely. It's an affirming read for those who are at a crossroads concerning their place of worship. The honesty and forthrightness of this book is needed now more than ever before. God bless you mightily for this book." – Sheritha Bowman, Author of Diary of a Woman Pastor

Long ignored, but serious in their own right - comics and graphic novels are often relegated to the children's table. That's NOT where I would expect to see Sin City! It's time to support our Black Comics.
