- I self-published some short fiction and novels while I was an undergrad at FAMU (Pseudonymous, The Chosen People, Uncondtionally - meroenpress.com - but don't go to that yet. It's mad outdated - as you'll see from the pictures, and P.O. Box. I'm working on getting it all upto date.) Academia, family and all that had a brother's plate full... I got a master's and Ph.D. (creative writing), just in case that moves you... I don't bother sharing that with folks unless I'm being arrested, applying for bank loans or going to my son's school behind somebody f*$#*@' with him...
Humor''s still paramount in my writing. (sex has been, lately, too). I like writing stuff that makes people discover themselves. Something that bathes them in their own hopes, fears and desires... It's all about creativity and connecting with folks... There's too much cubicle, 9-5 BS drying folk up creatively and I refuse to wind up wearing a short-sleeved button-down and an ugly tie wondering what happened to the real me. The matrix is real to me; I keep a pack of Sudafed gel tabs 'cause they're red: I'm ready for the truth! I have some of my writings in Poetry Jam and the Urban Fiction sections.
