- I'm a debut author. My book A Special Summer was released on March 4, 2008. Check out an excerpt on my website. I love African American Romance novels and authobiographies. However, I do very much enjoy reading other genres as well. I'm at my happiest when I'm hanging out with my husband, kids, family, & friends.
