The Visit... Free Verse with some Rhyme.
It was a quiet lazy afternoon, the sun was warm upon my face.
My eyes slowly began to close, I found myself in my Secret Place.
Sitting beside me was my handsome little Grandson, I felt his hand.
He was touching my face. "Wake up Granny," was his commend.
Softly he kissed the tip of my nose, he wanted to play.
"What's my name Granny?" he asked, I didn't answer right away.
Squealing he said, "You know Granny, tell me, I want to hear?"
