Don't worry about the publishing proccss right now. Concentrate on creating three dimensional characters with strong motivations, believable scenes and dialogue that works. Tip: Every line of dialogue must either show character or advance the plot!

I simply went up on my price after learning that other editors with major publishing house backgrounds are charging up to $15 per page.
