- The BLACK COLLEGE SABBATICAL LOVE Bookclub, newly started in Detroit, MI with the release of the novel, The Black College Sabbatical - Fall Qtr. - This novel is the first installment of a trilogy chronicaling 4 young women as they stumble through various trials and triumphs during their first year attending a historically black college. The Guardian Angel employs the reader to travel along with him to figure out which character needs the Angel's help most.

- I wrote this book for two primary purposes. First, to entertain readers with subject matter that glorifies something other than stereotypical negative depictions of black youth. I saw something on the news this weekend that blew my mind and I just had to share! Have you heard about the trouble Fisk University is having? One of "our" institutions is in the red and stands to lose accredidations and just like with Morris Brown, FAMU, and my almer mater, Central State the media seems to be hell bent on promoting only the negative.
