What You Need to Know About Me:
I was born and reared in Ghana, West Africa, on the beautiful continent of Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College, CUNY and I am the author/poet of two books: Mother Africa: Thou Art A Continent A Collection Of Essays and Time In Conflict: My Poetry Collections With An African Flavor By Theresa Kwofi. Mother Africa: Thou Art A Continent A Collection Of Essays is written to challenge the western media's negative portrayal of Africa. Africa's plentiful raw materials come to feed the western machinery as Africa, ironically, is continously portrayed as a poverty-stricken continent whose inhabitants are always hungry. My poems are well-written and very uplifting. Please visit my website: www.timeinconflict.com to learn more about my works. I am the mother of three grown-up children.

SPAM IS SO NOT COOL!

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
We have lost numerous members because of the amount of 'friend' mail they instantly receive. This Hurts Everyone.
Spam is unsolicited advertising, whether it is posted as comments on other members' pages or is emailed for marketing purposes.

Please be considerate. Post your advertisement in the proper Articles/Forum or Group. There are free classifieds on the Pages tab. You can post your information on your profile and even update your blog as often as you like.
