When Book Marketing gurus instruct us impressionable debut novelist to couple each and every vacation with a book marketing activity such as a book signing or author appearance I’m sure they didn’t mean a Disney Vacation-the mother of all vacation orchestration. A funny thing happen to me at the thrift store. As I was scanning the bookshelves for the lastest literary cast-offs my daughter cried out to me after unearthing a slightly worn copy of my debut novel, Soon and Very Soon-with a signature, no less. This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black. The writer's gender and age is not an issue. All genres welcome: general, mystery, romance, historical, etc. Write to Brenda Frazier for more information.
