Two of her novels have been the focus of NAACP National Essay Scholarship Competitions, while her first novel, Passing by Samaria, was the NAACP Book of the Year in 2000.

From A Writers POV is now accepting guest article writers to submit articles with info about writing, publication, editing etc. We are looking for articles that will help and inform our readers about the writing and publication field. We are currently only looking for about three to four articles for the months of July, August, September and October. After that we will not accept submissions again until August.
