What You Need to Know About Me:
I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I moved to the Washington DC area after I graduated from Syracuse University and after living there for 8.5 years I moved to Dallas, TX. I'm very calm, relaxed, peaceful and down to earth. I have been in the nonprofit field for eleven years serving in capacities such as after school programming, grant writing, creating partnerships and leveraging resources for smaller non profits so they can succeed.

My creative writing influences are authors and poets such as Zora Neale Hurston, Sonia Sanchez and Nikki Giovanni. My Mother and Grandparents have also encouraged me to go after my dreams and passion to write. I always give praise to God for blessing me. My other influences are my godchildren that really help me to imagine and dream to create children's stories. My friends and the wild stories I hear on a daily basis is the foundation of my fictious novels that have a lot of reality in them.

I'm also the founder of Divine Wryte Creations, Making Words into Art. Founded in 2007 I create and sell framed poetry and personalized journals. Check out my Etsy website at www.divinewryte.etsy.com I also customize frames as well for those special gifts and occassions.

On the side I assist small nonprofits with grant writing, strategic planning, budgeting, program development, partnership and collaboration building.

Whether it's going after $10,000 or $100,000, assisting your organization with strategic planning and program development or budgeting my expertise in the nonprofit world and my creative writing solutions will help you to build a foundation and wealth for your organization. Working nationally I know I can assist you with the many challenges facing the philanthropic changes.

Choose from four poems on a variety of products such as post cards, magnets, wall clocks, journals, keep sake boxes, tiles, bags, etc. More to come so stay tuned!

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.htmlhopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

Hey Serena!

So sorry ... I'm just now peeked in and saw that you left a message. As you already know, I did not attend OCBF's writers event this year but I pray all walked away full of purpose!

I will speak my heart, my emotions true
so that my very words will bring joy to you,
my desire to give passion a new name,
I will speak them sweetly
to the one who has set my desire free,
they will burn like a raging fire
for every moment to have you surrender
the sweetness of your love to me,
I will caress the very essence of your soul,
I will become a slave to love
call me passion and I will fill your every moment
every time you call out to me
