Roses are the Color of Brown Sugar
Sculpted in time by the hand of God
Swaddled and presented to man in mature form
Eyes closed not yet exposed to light
Until finished, every curve of your frame made perfect.
The earth needs you
To help accent the colors of the rainbow
Give proportion to the mountains
Be the central thought to birds that sing
You have caused the wind to blow
Look how the autumn leaves dance at your feet.
Yes…roses are the color of brown sugar
