What You Need to Know About Me:
My debut novel, "When Disappointments Meet Destiny" is scheduled to hit May 2010. Writing has been my passion since childhood, although for many years, I considered it as therapy and recreation. Now, I realize that I must share my creative and God given gifts with others, as I inspire to provoke, dispense and stimulate positive emotions, growth and ideas.

Wake Up Everybody!

This is a wonderful day, full of life, miracles and blessings! The fresh, crisp element of autumn is in the air and God is still in control. I am a flower, blooming and full of exuberance, as I express my gratitude for being who I am and for celebrating whose I am!

No one determines my worth, or creates my destiny. As God's Spirit steers my path into my divine purpose, I realize that I am wonderfully and miraculously made. Everything about my character always has and currently exists to… Continue

Hi Denyce:

This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black. The writer's gender and age is not an issue. All genres welcome: general, mystery, romance, historical, etc. When I have more information (word count, contact information, etc), I will write to you again.

All best,
Anita

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
