What You Need to Know About Me:
I have been writing poetry for 16 years primarily about love and relationships.
I published my first volume of poems in hopes to encourage young women.
I also mentor teens who have become pregnant and are mothers, which is a matter close to my own heart.

I hope to promote my book to inspire young women around the country and continue to write and publish supportive and inspirational work.

FANTASY

I guess that's what fantasies are for.
I close my eyes, you meet me there. My sweetest dream in the flesh.
The door to my soul opens for you.
Reality tells me to let you be, but something holds me back.
The deep corners of my mind won't let you go.
Deep feelings become fact.

Come join WNBA Legend Kym Hampton at a glorious day of female networking. Hear powerful words of wisdom and sisterly advice from the Executive Director of the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now Inc. (FFAWN). Enjoy a spirited basketball game and cheer on the NY Liberty.
