Hi Roney:

This is just a heads up - A new company is starting in 2009. It will publish novels for women over 40. In other words, the main character has to be a female, over 40 years of age. She does not have to be black. The writer's gender and age is not an issue. All genres welcome: general, mystery, romance, historical, etc. Write to Brenda Frazier for more information. Her email address is: writingtimes@aol.com

All best,
Anita

Welcome to Black Author Showcase™. Sit back, relax, and get involved in a thriving literary community. Check out a few member blogs - there might be a short story or two around, invite your myspace/facebook friends and associates, upload your works in the Photos section so they will be included on the Main page rotation, join or create a group, meet with other readers and book club members, post an excerpt of your work on your blog, pimp out your page, and post your events.
Would you like your work included in the site store? Just send the ISBN(s) numbers to: info@blackauthorshowcase.com. Do you have books on Lulu? If so, send BAS your Lulu storefront link.

Got questions? Check out the About This Site forum or email the above address. Please do not hesitate to ask the community for help . . . It's why we exist! Enjoy!

About

SPAM IS SO NOT COOL!

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
We have lost numerous members because of the amount of 'friend' mail they instantly receive. This Hurts Everyone.
Spam is unsolicited advertising, whether it is posted as comments on other members' pages or is emailed for marketing purposes.

Please be considerate. Post your advertisement in the proper Articles/Forum or Group. There are free classifieds on the Pages tab. You can post your information on your profile and even update your blog as often as you like.

We are not into censorship, so please don't make us ask you to leave. Be kind and unselfish - don't spam.
