Backwards (not meant to offend anyone) Maybe offensive to some...

Time, has it stood still? Or has it finally repeated itself ? Gone back to the time of our freedom marches, and the millions of souls that felt those burning torches…of hate. Gone back to a time win it hurt to concentrate, on the day that we could be free. On the day that we can be excepted by our individuality. And not by the hue of our vanity. We’ve seen clarity in this Inauguration. Others see it as a racial violation.
Time, has it finally ticked and tocked, so much that we can stop watching… Continue

It's Okay (A poem for the Ladies)

Sometimes a women needs to be alone, to take a step back and take the time to retrace her thoughts, to see if she's learned from her mistakes. Time to think about the battles fought.
Every now and then a woman needs to be alone. Just to except the fact that alone is okay. To pick up the pieces and fix the disarray. Time to sit back and get to know herself. Put away the heartache and put all her troubles on the shelf.
Sometimes a women needs to be alone. To stop and take a look at her spiritual s… Continue

Smoke from my Mind, Exhaled Thoughts (poem)

I hear the clicking at my computer, as I exhale my thoughts
Deep breaths of my concentration fingers to keys, a different
Kind of penetration
As I hear the sound of my pen stroking the paper
Releasing the smoke from my mind, a fire that burns
Each word I write is the trickle of water that tames the
Embers, my poetic memories, my way to remember
Another relationship ended, another piece of my
shattered heart breaks, The tears fall, tracing my feelings
clear salty liquid forms a new poem
Poetry of… Continue

Need to make A Call...(poem)

Need to make a call, that can satisfy me…put my body at ease….
Sending me to unattached ecstasy…no need to feel a connection…only searching for sexual affection….need to make a call…
want to see the moon…sexual vibes…that keep me in tune…knows just how to hit...Sexual endeavors…somebody to hit and miss…without all the drama of being dissed…fantasies and desires that’s all that will be missed…need to make a call…
Not looking for a relationship…to much has to go with that…don’t want to feel attach… Continue

Just Yesterday (poem)

What would a slave say? Or our ancestors say, If they knew we made a change just yesterday
Yesterday my sons played, their best friend came over to stay, they laughed and joked until the day had no light, what would our ancestors say, if they knew he was white…
What would a slave say, or our ancestor say, if they knew we made a change just yesterday
Yesterday we went out to eat, went in the front door, with our heads held high and our hearts filled
With pride…it seems like just the day before we… Continue

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.htmlhopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

Just rememeber to be careful who you let read ur work if its not copyrighten. If ur thinking about Self or Subsidary publishing you should diffently go to www.copyright.gov. It's a $35.00 fee for the Library of Congress but, you'll know that ur work will stay ur work!
Much Love and Success,

thanks for stopping by. it took me ten years to finish the first novel. i did not write it during the entire ten years. i spent several years resisting the gift. i actually got down to work and committed to working on it in 2001. i had several life changes that occurred in 2003 that made me rethink the project. i had to regroup and focus. i started again in mid 2003 and finished the final draft in may 2007. the book was published in august 2007. i still had to some edits after the book was out. i finalized everything in december 2007. it was a journey of surrender and continues to be. surrender, take your time, get support, and know you will finish.
