- I'm a broadcaster, community activist, teacher and writer. My novels are of the genre I call IMHOTEP-HOP.

My two Del Rey/Random House novels are *From the Notebooks of Doctor Brain* and *The Coyote Kings of the Space-Age Bachelor Pad*, each of which was a finalist for the Philip K. Dick Award.
My journalism has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Alberta Views, Unlimited, Vue, See, Your Health, and Food for Thought.
I have been broadcasting at CJSR FM-88.5 Edmonton (www.cjsr.com) since 1989 and my news programme, The Terrordome: Afrika All-World News Service is, to my knowledge, Canada's longest continuously-running Africentric radio show.
