- I am a poet, writer, and educator. Since the age of nine, I have been writing poetry. Through the years, I have been honing my craft as a writer through a number of ways including workshops, graduate courses, and performing at local venues. I am a published author, but have yet to produce a book devoted solely to my own original works. That is definitely a primary goal. One of my other primary goals at this time is writing more original poetry and prose. I also want to continue performing and entering contests too. Last but not least, I want to read more because I know that good writers need to be good readers too..

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
