Have You "Freed Your Inner Book" Yet?
Yes
What You Need to Know About Me:
Malarie Mitchell is an African American authoress whose main objective is to share with the world a new and different outlook on life in the inner city. Over the years Harlem has changed tremendously and there is just a plethora of stories to entertain readers with that she feels will make for excellent reads, if told properly--which is why she decided to come with her "Once Upon A Time in Harlem Collection" of which Big Mistake is book #1. She feels that having been born and raised in Harlem and still being a current resident, she is more than qualified to give readers an authentic description of what Harlem used to be like as well as how it is today. She wanted to be quoted as saying: "I can promise you that all of my novels will be full of warmth, love, humor, action, drama and decency and will be written in a mainstream style that readers of all ages and races may enjoy." Some of Ms. Mitchell favorite past-times are spending time with her grand-children and great grandchildren; quite evenings at home with her cat X-Ray who is more than a handful; and on nights when the weather is inclement, give her a good old fashioned black and white film noir movie to watch and she'll be the first to tell you, "it doesn't get any better than this!" In fact you will notice that her style of writing will reflect some of the panache as well as vernacular from that era at times. All in all, Malarie Mitchell is authoress who is up and coming, on the rise and ready to take her place in the literary world as a force to be reckoned with.
