Yes
What You Need to Know About Me:
I just published my first book, Psalms of the Daughter (http://psalmsofthedaughter.com). I also launched my own publishing company (www.takeactionpublishing.com).

An Excerpt from "Psalms of the Daughter"

A Day in Christ

I’m driving down the street
And like a bad movie
I watch an episode of my life unfold before me.

I try to focus on the road ahead
And again another twisted scene haunts me.

I try to turn off the picture
But one memory after the other
reminds me of the careless life I’ve lived.

My vision becomes distorted
as my mind begins to embrace the madness.
And then, a still small voice speaks to me
and reminds me that I am His child.

I am a daughter of the Most High.
I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior
and all my sins are forgiven.

I smile and shake my head and begin praising God.
Lips moving,
tears flowing,
and hallelujahs rising in my throat -
I drive on down that road
with the peace of God
and a new vision in my heart.

As the driver in the car next to me wonders why
that crazy woman is talking to herself!

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
