- I am the host of "The Rapturous Reader", an internet radio show which features interviews with African American authors; especially those who have received good to great reviews, but are not on the "popular" bestseller lists. At times we also highlight books that are not by African Americans, but explore life issues which African Americans may find common ground. I am a rapturous reader, and an avid collector of African American art. I enjoy doing needlepoint, and listening to smooth and gospel jazz.

The requirements are simple:
1. Have recently published a book (fiction or non-fiction) about life experiences from African American perspectives, or about issues in which African Americans may find common ground.
2. Writings should not be overtly vulgar or violent, as deemed by the host.
3. Be available by telephone or VoIP for a live thirty minute or forty five minute internet radio interview on a Sunday at 3:00 p.m. (PST), 6:00 (EST)

Nice to meet you. Do you have poetry or know of a poet that has work related to jazz or music? My upcoming book will feature my jazz paintings with related poetry.....thought I'd check to see if you have connections in those genres.
