- I am an Event and Meeting Planner Extraordinaire. I LOVE to read and have been a member of the largest African American book club in the U.S. for the past 14 years. I planned and hosted the Book Clubs Unite event in August 2009 which featurered 18 authors from Chicago, Kansas, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. I am planning the 2nd Annual Book Clubs Unite for Saturday, August 21, 2010. I am always on the lookout for an Author with a good story to tell to feature at upcoming events.
