Kerry'ism Quote - CONFIDENCE

CONFIDENCE;comes from within, not outside in. It is in you, not of you. Doesn't require a stage, an audience, approval or recognition. Doesn't entail bragging, being obnoxiously cocky or the false sense of security that comes from that. True confidence is not how you feel when you walk into a room, full of people. It's how you feel when you walk out of one...alone ~ Happy Thanksgiving

Kerry'ism Quote - APPRECIATION/IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS

APPRECIATION;Doesn't matter what you cook, I'll eat it. It may not taste like a delicacy, but I'm going to eat, cherish & appreciate it like it is. The least I could do is help with the dishes, rub your sweet feet after I dip'em in ice cream, lay your head on my chest & tuck you away in a dream. As my grandmother would echo in Church overwhelmed with grace, mercy & goodness."You didn't have to do it...but I thank you"

Kerry'ism Quote - FEAR & TRUTH

FEAR;How can you have the whole answer, if you exclude part of the equation or all the answers, if you're excluding one of the questions? We aren't required to like it, we aren't required to love it, we aren't required to respect it. However, we are required to "consider" it; if we ever are to make sense of it "all". If you settle for any old and or every other answer, you will never understand how to get to the bottom of the truth. You do the truth, long before it can do you. The truth only… Continue

Hi Kerry , Have a fascinating day and stay blessed! Marie

"It’s Crunch Time!”, This is a new children’s book by Marie Brewer. Find it on www.amazon.com (www.helenbrewer.com for excerpts and a link to book) This is my book of muscle for boys (ages 9-12) to point them in the direction of HOPE!...This is an interactive book where they can write about their feelings. It discusses acceptable behavior, honesty, good self-image, respect for females and animals, appreciation for teachers/school, choosing good friends. The book also talks about resisting gangs, guns, drugs, violence, alcohol and bad influences. Let's attack the behavior, not the boy. "It's Crunch Time!" , $10.95 , by Marie Brewer, www.amazon.com Be a part of the village to help our boys envision their true God-given purpose!
We can turn this thing around! SEE! THINK ! ACT!
IF NOT YOU , THEN WHO ?!
Heaven gives us hope! Marie Brewer

Mud Alley...the Line in Rosenberg. Man, Julia Girtman (on Clark Street) was the love of my life, I roamed around Mud Alley when the Cinder Club was there. Thomas Earl is gone, but ask Cryin' Willie, Cadillac, or Sherman about Kinny (Julia Mays boyfriend. I know they bulldozed down most of Mud Alley and the Line just dried up. I am back in my past. Drop my name around Lil' Ro from Rosenberg. Tell him I still love Lorraine, Beau, Krystal...and Ms. Roberts. Cryin' Willie, Cadillac, Adrian, Thomas Earl.

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
