Enough about the company. I'm a wife and mother of two extreme kids (girl 5, boy 4). We read tons of books, laugh a lot and run around constantly. The kids and I spend Saturday mornings in karate class and then to the market for a lot of fresh fruit and just one donut. I am a biologist by career, thus the swamp book, and I have been writing stories since I was a teen. My hope is to teach kids about the environment and animals and encourage them to focus on careers in science and nature. My second book is being illustrated now and I hope to get going on my follow-up featuring our daughter as a super hero butterfly. Hope all is well with ya'll!

LATEST NEWS!!! My book was written up in the Informer. Visit http://www.washingtoninformer.com/wi/images/stories/archives/papers... and go to page 32.

Woody, Snappy and Terpy Swamp Party! Fun story about the turtles collecting their animal friends in uplands, wetlands and the beach and heading to the party in the swamp! This book is printed in USA on recycled paper using vegetable inks.

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
