Who would have known she would leave so soon—a heart attack
And no amount of tears could ever bring her back
So to cover my pain, I put pen to paper
Constantly asking God, why did He have to take her?
With every accomplishment, over and over, I cried
Nothing could seem to ease my pain inside
I want her to see the phenomenal woman I’ve be… Continue

Hey sis! It was a real pleasure meeting you on Saturday! Thank you for your support! I just purchased When I'm Loving You and I'm looking forward to reading it. Thanks again. (I should have purchased your book on Saturday. I think I was just disappointed and wasn't thinking. Please forgive my rudeness.)

Ms. Moore,
Nice to meet you. You're a poet? Have anything related to jazz? My upcoming book will feature my jazz paintings with related poetry.....thought I'd see what you have.

Thanks for your time.

Ms Moore A strange coincidence is that I lost my mother also to a tradgedy at ten years also. I imagine we have a few of the same feelings about growing up without. Best wishes, Gerald

Girl! I was just cleaning up my e-mail box when I saw your message again. You know how I am, I read it...but didn't read it. So, I opened it up and read the poem. I just want to say that you have brought tears to my eyes. You have grown so much since we've met and I want you to know I am so proud of you and the woman you are becoming!!! You have always had it in you, but now the light is shining brighter than ever!!! Thanks for being an inspiration to women who have dreams that they have yet to live.

LOVE YA!!!!
Renita
