She wasn't answering any calls and no one in the office had heard from her. Good thing he had a spare key to her condo and used it to get into her house. As he walked in the door, the smell of… Continue

Opps! You misspelled "answer" -- it should be past tense, "answered". That can be a fatal mistake and prevent your book from being widely accepted. Even the most famous writers rely heavily on the services of a good editor.

Welcome to the BAS! Be sure to announce your book launch party in the events section. We have many members living the Northeast US and some from Jersey who would probably love to attend.

Best of luck! Also, be sure to use the BAS resources for editing or publishing resources as well as promotions.

SPAM IS SO NOT COOL!

Please do not greet everyone on the site with large images and announcements of your book or business. Yes, you want to tell the world, but learn the fine art of subtlety. A simple welcome and signature/link is fine. Let them ask you for more.
We have lost numerous members because of the amount of 'friend' mail they instantly receive. This Hurts Everyone.
Spam is unsolicited advertising, whether it is posted as comments on other members' pages or is emailed for marketing purposes.

Please be considerate. Post your advertisement in the proper Articles/Forum or Group. There are free classifieds on the Pages tab. You can post your information on your profile and even update your blog as often as you like.

The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
