Who Really Dresses Like This?

I had this wacky video of yours truly on my website, but people weren't getting it -- that I was doing this tongue in cheek. Even some people that knew me were taking this seriously. I was dressed half corporate, half thugged out -- looking crazy as hell. Who really dresses like this? I had to add two more videos so people could see and feel the real me. Stoneheart On Audio

I just finished editing the audio version my book. The process was painful, time comsuming, and tedious. I ended up using Sounbooth CS4 by Adobe to get the job done. I used Lynda.com to learn the software, at least the two features I was interested in: recording and editing. Adobe offers a 30 day free trial which allowed me to lay down the entire 360 pages and then edit it. Unfortunately, I found a few errors after I thought I was finished, so I had to buy the program in the end. How did the… Continue

Advice on Exploring Erotica in Your Writing

MediaBistro's Morning Media Menu had a conversation with author Jamie Brenner about advice for writers looking to explore this newly crowded genre. An excerpt from Brenner: My first erotic novel came out two years ago. The landscape feels completely different. There is not just the hope to reach a mainstream audience with erotic novel, but the expectation that success is reaching everyone, not just the genre readers. Fifty Shades of Grey really raised the bar for that. At the same time, working…See More
