The book is fine with me, what it's about that is. I read the intro on the Lulu page and then went on to chapter 1, by the time I was on page 2 I started to get annoyed. I wanted some action and was tired of the frustration. The story has a littl...

I shop Amazon too and I wouldn't buy from a book club type place because of the limited selection. I mean I have but I didn't really like it. I don't really like to check out books from the library either. It's better for me to own my books (worki...

But doesn't every crime story involve the seamy underside of the city in which the tales are born? Or is Urban fiction another name for Ethnic fiction? Yes, I've been to prison, been involved in the drug world, and committed plenty crimes, but I don't think of my stories as urban. I want to have a wider readership. A universal appeal.

Deidra,
What u can do for the block is to think of the outcome of your book. Think about what and how you got to that point to write and what the book will bring u when u complete it. Also take that emotion and let it fuel u to write and to write weel and get it done. Good Luck
